Tony: Capsicle is great and all, but I couldn’t do that to Bruce!
Steel Pond Studios | Portland, Oregon-based steel sculptor Robert Jefferson Travis Pond - Half of what I do is collecting materials. For me, the question is never where to start; it is always when to stop. It is a constant look beyond the object, beyond the form, to what is next. Each circumstance, or in this case, each piece, spontaneously connects to the next. This seemingly random assortment of metal dictates its future in a very fast and spontaneous manner. The sculpture decides for itself what it will look like and when it is complete.
“…I admit that on the surface a movie about an uber-masculine hammer-wielding thunder god doesn’t exactly seem like fertile ground for a feminist reading. But it’s surprisingly subversive of the genre of action movies and an extremely sensitive portrayal of a group of human beings who are dealing with their own crap and other people’s crap and not doing very well with either.”
now I am thinking about abandoning my dream Joker design on the back in favour of something akin to this.
God, this is beautiful.

saw bourne’s legacy today. cinematography and acting was great. shame about the weak script though.
